Welcome to the Lane Department of Computer Science & Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University. We offer a student-centered program of teaching and research in the information sciences, with degree options in Computer Science (BS, MS and PhD), Computer Engineering (BS and PhD), Electrical Engineering (BS, MD and PhD), Biometric Systems (BS), and Software Engineering (MS). We also offer graduate certificates in Computer Forensics, Information Assurance and Biometrics, and Software Engineering.
