The program is intended to be self-supporting through student tuition and fees. The initial startup of the program has had the start-up support from Microsoft and in-kind assistance from the National White Collar Crime Center and the U.S. Secret Service. The University itself, College of Engineering and Mineral Resources and the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering are and have invested significant funds and personnel time in the program.
Please refer to the WVU website at http://www.arc.wvu.edu/admissions/costs.html for current information on tuition and additional costs.
The Department of Defense offers an Information Assurance Scholarship.
Financial Support through the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering is also available. Details are available here.
