Student organizations within the department include IEEE, ACM, Formula Lightning, SWE and many others. Students are also actively involved in projects within their curriculum and other extracurricular projects.
Most student organizations are under the guidance of a faculty advisor and activities are voluntary and does not carry any formal course load. Students participate based on interest and the experience provides valuable skills in team work, leadership skills, etc.
