What are the requirements for a minor in Computer Science?
Any student can complete a minor in CS by achieving a C or better in the following:
CS110 and CS111
Pick one from CS210, CS220 or CS230
CS310 and CS350
At least one CS4xx course

Is it possible to get other minors as an EE student without taking extra classes?
It is possible, with careful planning to get either a Physics or a Math minor without taking extra courses.

Math Minor:
Math 155, 156, 251, 261 - BSEE required
Math 375 - Take as EE Math/Sci elective
Math 3xx/4xx excl. 331/332/493 - 6hrs Tech Elective

Physics Minor:
Phys 111, 112 - BSEE required
Phys 314 - Take as EE Math/Sci elective
Phys 321 and 471 - 6hrs Electronics Tech Elective

What is the maximum course load that I can take per semester?
20 credit hours in one semester (or a total of 9 credit hours for both Summer terms). If you intend to take more you must obtain prior permission from your advisor, Academic Standards Committee member, and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. The completed Course Overload Request must be submitted to the College Office of Student Services, Room 141 ESB.
